• Importer of goods in Nigeria collates Pre-Import Documentation (e- Form M, PFI, Insurance,and relevant permit).

• The Importer’s dealer Bank reviews the documents and does “Know Your Customer” (KYC) exercise before transmitting the documents to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS). Need to Ship to Nigeria, get shipping quote here.

• Nigerian Custom Service (NCS) approves and registers e-Form M • The Bank Establishes LC (if applicable) • Importer of consignment instructs the seller to ship the goods to Nigeria.

• Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) issues the Pre- Arrival Assessment Report (PAAR).

• Importer delivers shipping documents and PAAR to his customs clearing agent

• Customs Clearing agent obtains assessment notice from Customs to pay Duty

• Clearing agent pays duty, clears the goods, and delivers to the Importer in Nigeria.
